The Saskatoon Trail Alliance is moving into an exciting and critical time as we plan for the future of our trails and the sustainability of our board. At this year’s AGM, we’ll be presenting a new plan for the structure and direction of the board—and we need your input to ensure success!

🗓 When: Wednesday, December 18th at 7:00 PM
📍 Where: High Key Brewing Company, 102 23 St E, Saskatoon

Several board positions are up for election, and this is your opportunity to get involved and make a real impact in shaping the future of trails in Saskatoon.

Available Positions:
• Vice President (2-year term) – Incumbent nominated
• Treasurer (2-year term) – No incumbent (Seeking someone with financial experience)
• Member at Large (2-year term) – Incumbent nominated
• Member at Large (2-year term) – No incumbent
• Member at Large (2-year term) – No incumbent
• Member at Large (1-year term) – Previous board member nominated (Seeking someone with social media experience for one position)

We’re calling on our amazing trail community to help fill these roles and contribute to our mission of maintaining and growing sustainable trails for all.

This is your chance to hear about what we’ve accomplished this year, share your ideas for the future, and help shape the direction of the STA. Plus, with a number of board positions up for renewal and 3 positions that need to be filled—this is a great opportunity to get involved and make a difference in our trail community.

🌲🚴 Trail Work Day Alert! 🚴🌲

Last fall, we made some important repairs and rerouted sections of the Slytherin trail. This Sunday, November 3rd we’re excited to continue that work and we’d love for the community to join us!

We’ll be realigning the trail on the existing bed, ensuring it stays accessible and sustainable. Plus, this trail will support aMTB (Adaptive Mountain Biking), making it enjoyable for even more users.

📍 Meeting Location: Whiteswan Drive just North of Lenore
🗓️ Date: Sunday, November 3rd
🕚 Time: 11am

Bring your energy and enthusiasm, and let’s make Slytherin even better! If you’re interested in helping shape our trails, come out and join us!

What a week it’s been! Much needed trail mainten

What a week it’s been! Much needed trail maintenance was completed by our dedicated trail leads, members from the board, and volunteers from the community. Without these people donating their valuable time these trails couldn’t be enjoyed by the citizens of our beautiful city.

We’re always looking for volunteers on our trail days and this is a great way to give back to the community. Trust me, the feeling after working on a trail is pretty stellar. And if you can’t find the time, you can always purchase a membership to the STA and/or make a donation.

Thanks to everyone who volunteered tonight! Good progress was made on Corkscrew. Remember that we have another maintenance night scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, July 30th. Details in the feed.

Wait, what? Another trail maintenance day next week?

When: Tuesday, July 30th, 6:00pm

Where: Meeting at Weir parking lot on the east side

Details: South half of Chad & Joey’s requires some attention

So we have maintenance going on Monday and Tuesday evening. If you can help out with one or both, that would be e incredible. Earning some trail karma makes enjoying the singletrack even more sweet!

When: Monday, July 29th, 6pm

Where: Meet at Old Central Ave Grid Road , North end of Corkscrew

Details: The priority is to work on Corkscrew and Ravine.
If we get a good volunteer turnout, we’ll look to give Upper Pedderson some love.

Would be great to see y’all out! All tools will be provided.
